I went out to shoot the full moon this evening, all pretty and orange in the smoky night. Then I looked off towards Zenia.



This picture, taken from my backyard, shows the fire about 10 miles or less from my home in Alderpoint. Scary stuff. I called KMUD, and then 911 but they both already knew about it, so I turned on the sprinklers and waited.

I shot the moon before I saw the fire.
